Purvi Shah, PA-C, is a NCCPA Board-Certified Physician Assistant and Registered Dietitian with a clinical background spanning dietetics, primary care, and functional medicine. Her dual expertise in nutrition and medicine uniquely positions her to address the root causes of chronic disease through a personalized, lifestyle-centered approach. In 2022, she joined Atlanta Functional Medicine to bring this integrated perspective to her patients.
Purvi is passionate about helping patients uncover the true causes of their health concerns and achieve lasting wellness. She believes exceptional care begins with listening – understanding each person’s story, symptoms, and goals. She is committed to helping patients understand why they aren’t feeling their best and works alongside them to develop sustainable solutions that improve their quality of life.

One of Purvi’s greatest strengths is the genuine connection she builds with her patients. She doesn’tjust see patients during appointments- she follows up, checks in on their progress, and celebrates their successes. Her patients value her thoughtful approach, her attention to detail, and her unwavering commitment to helping them feel their best. Patients feel that she gives them the tools they need to take control of their health with confidence.
Outside of practice, Purvi is a devoted mother of two and an active volunteer at Truths Clinic. She currently serves as President of a local High School Theatre Board, where she supports the arts in her community. She enjoys weightlifting, dancing, and travelling. Her Indian heritage and love of vegetarian cooking give her a personal understanding of nutrition that she brings to her patients.
